As a team of 8~10 people, we organise an annual art event in a local venue and open to both the UWC community and the public. The event consists of an art exhibition of all media, music performances, and interactive workshops. Last year’s theme was Epoch—the beginning of a period in the history of someone or something—to highlight the post-pandemic reality and the excitement coming along.

The team curated an offline exhibition lasting for one week at TX Huaihai Youth Energy Center in Shanghai. The exhibition mainly discusses the intertextuality of art and how artworks can live an infinite life in art history by inspiring the creativity of artists generation after generation.

Social Justice Watcher is a non-profit organization run by school students, striving to raise awareness of social issues among youths through competitions and events. In charge of the art section, I together with the team organised an art exhibition against body shaming last year. The event attracted more than 1000 visitors.
